6th February 1999
My computer crashed after AWeb-II ran out of memory downloading AltaVista, and then reboot. Soon found that my hard-drive was invalidated. Waited about half an hour and the drive light went out. "Good, it's fixed!", I thought.
Was it heck! The keyboard was not responding, and on another reboot, the hard-drive wasn't recognised at all!
Eventually formatted the hard drive (well, the Work partition.) and spent the next three hours re-installing Apps, Games and PD back on it. Unfortunately, my backup was outdated, and I lost most of my source code, NetDock included! Damn!

Nothing much happened today. Metal Gear Solid still hasn't been delivered.
Completed Alien Breed 3D 2, after 4 months of trying to get past level 15!
Started recoding NetDock, after the hard-drive crash (6th February).
13th February 1999
Received my subscription copy of Amiga Format which contained the old JD website on the cover CD. If you do have issue 121 of Amiga Format, then ignore that website, this is MUCH better!
Received my new MIDI keyboard. All I have to do now is ask my brother to build me a MIDI interface (he's an electrician)
My import copy of Metal Gear Solid still hasn't arrived.

The work on this website was started. If all went to plan, it was uploaded on the same day as well.
Finished recoding NetDock and it's accompanying preferences program, PathPrefs. I had to recode it because of the hard-drive crash (documented under the 6th February 1999)
Andy finally deleted his AO(hel)L account (Yippee!) and has now logged on with Free-Online. net so his new e-mail address is now andyc@scaryhackerbloke@idps.co.uk.
